The turning of the calendar year traditionally brings with it a desire for recharge + reset both within our lives and our spaces. The time of year for resting, reflecting, setting goals, and taking steps towards realizing those goals.
Taking the plunge and diving into work on a space in your home can be as daunting as it can be rewarding. For some of us it is difficult to let go of items that no longer serve us, for others it’s difficult to create a vision. Closets (and those sneaky chairs, you know the one I’m talking about… sits in the corner and magically catch clothes?) can be highly efficient and utilized spaces, but they can also easily become a place for items to collect which leads to clutter and overwhelm.
Our closets, should be simple, accessible, and visually calm. Our wardrobe is a visual representation of ourselves, our style, what we like. Having an organized storage solution not only makes finding these pieces much easier, but it also improves the process of presenting ourselves each day and makes it a more enjoyable process.

The December project was a gifted Elfa install for a client, and that’s how this closet overhaul came to be.
